Taking place from 19 to 22 January, BUDMA is held under the theme of "Sustainable construction - economy, ecology, human". The exposition is supplemented by a broad selection of products and services from different branches of the construction industry: residential housing, social infrastructure and public building sector (foundations, walls, insulation products, windows, doors, roofs, wood, stone, chemicals, tools), industrial building (floors, steel constructions, halls) and road construction (planning, geotechnics, aggregates, surfaces, road infrastructure).
The programme of events also includes:
- Passive construction - Annual heating costs can be as low as PLN 2 per square metre, providing that the house in question has been designed and constructed in compliance with passive building principles. Budma 2010 offers an insight into the mysteries of construction solutions relating to this ever more popular, eco-friendly and economical technology.
- BudShow's motto is "SUSTAINABLE HOUSING" - Sustainable buildings are environmentally-friendly, economical and ergonomic. During the show, a model house will be presented in three areas:
- House under construction - presentation of cross-sections of the framework and individual structural elements (an opportunity to learn more about the products, technologies, and their proper application).
- Installation of products supplied by the Partners (demonstration of recommended use and proper working standards). The process will feature live commentary by a moderator, with supplementary audio and video materials available on site throughout the day.
- Finished house - the completed part of the house will be open to fair visitors.
