The shapes of nature
"For centuries, nature has been an inspiration for artistic expressions recording human existence. Broadly construed nature is the oldest motif in artistic endeavours. Things that involved humans directly have always been associated with the surrounding nature, of which humans are part. Nature offers opportunities for the development of a sensitivity to beauty; also, it has an influence on our reflections and on the construction of an awareness of the world that surrounds us, at various levels of personality. What I'm fascinated by is the peace that flows from it; each plant is unique. Trees have become a particular inspiration for me. The beauty and dignity of trees and the rich colours of the nature that surrounds us have a very positive influence on me and induce me to reflect".
