Top Medical Trends is the biggest annual meeting of medical practitioners and representatives of broadly understood medical profession. - It has an enormous potential in terms of content, medical community relations and... social entertainment - says Prof. Andrzej Steciwko, President of the Scientific Committee of TMT.

The Congress will be inaugurated with a formal opening session. Among other speakers, inaugural lectures will be given by:

Prof. Andrzej Steciwko - President of the Central Management Board of the Polish Society of Family Medicine, Head of the Department of Family Medicine of the Wrocław Medical University, Vice-Chancellor of the State Higher Medical Vocational School in Opole;

Prof. Henryk Skarżyński - Director of the Institute of Physiology and Pathology of Hearing in Warsaw, Member of the Polish Academy of Sciences;

Prof. Jerzy Woy-Wojciechowski - President of the Polish Medical Association.

The Congress has been divided into 18 thematic sessions. Each of them will involve speakers who are Poland's greatest scientific authorities and, at the same time, best medical lecturers. Among invited guests there are many national consultants (e.g. Jan Lubiński - clinical genetics, Grażyna Rydzewska - gastroenterology, Wiesław Jędrzejczak - haematology, Bolesław Rutkowski - nephrology, Witold Tłustochowicz - reumatology), a number of present, former and president-elects of medical associations (e.g. Wojciech Kozubski - Polish Neurological Society, Waldemar Banasiak - Polish Cardiac Society, Leszek Szenborn - Polish Vaccinology Association, Marek Sosnowski - Polish Urological Association), as well as many directors and managers of clinics, institutes and medical centres.
