They packed the necessary things and travelled into the unknown. Just to escape from the war, bombing, fear. Many of them came to Poznań and the first place they reached was the Poznań International Fair.

Within a few days, the fair became the largest centre of help for refugees from Ukraine in the region. The aid came from everywhere: from companies, institutions and private individuals. As a consequence, Poznań passed its test of generosity with excellent marks.

This is the subject of a documentary film made by Marek Osiecimski, a recognised director. His team spent four days on the fair grounds, documenting the good things that happened here and talking to those who helped. Ordinary people who were not able to remain indifferent in the face of human suffering.
