The Polish Pavilion will be the main arena for the presentation of Poland during World Exhibition EXPO 2020 in Dubai. Exhibition themes recommended by the organizers – sustainable development and mobility – will be expanded by Poland in three subject areas: Technology, International Cooperation and Nature. The motto of the Polish Pavilion is: "Creativity inspired by nature".

- The decision to entrust the task related to the creation of the pavilion – Poland's showpiece at the World Exhibition EXPO 2020 in Dubai – to Grupa MTP - FM Aldentro Consortium is a confirmation of the unique competence of both companies and their very high position among the organizers of the most important international events. Grupa MTP has been involved three times in the organisation of the COP climate summit in Poland for the UN" – says Tomasz Kobierski, Vice-President of the Management Board of Grupa MTP.

Therefore, the general contractor faces a real challenge to turn a perfect project into an implementation which in October will become a spectacular carrier of information about our country. The contract for the "design, construction, technical maintenance and dismantling of the Polish Pavilion at the World Exhibition EXPO 2020 in Dubai, United Arab Emirates" has three stages, including the preparation of the design documentation for the Polish Pavilion, obtaining building permits and Organizer's permits, construction of the Polish Pavilion together with installations, interior design of the building and exhibition, ongoing technical maintenance of the building and exhibition, as well as dismantling of the Polish Pavilion after the end of the World Exhibition EXPO 2020 in Dubai.

Polish Pavilion - a multithreaded story about Polish nature, creativity and innovation.

The competition for the conceptual design of the Polish Pavilion and the internal exhibition for the World Exhibition EXPO 2020 in Dubai was won by the WXCA studio based in Warsaw. The architecture of the Pavilion clearly refers to the mobility motto. It creates an open, upwards growing modular structure that invites visitors to relax in the shadow of a large roof, and to contemplate the installation floating above the guests' heads – a kinetic sculpture depicting a flock of flying birds.

The wealth of nature, diversity of the landscape and strategic location in the centre of Europe make Poland the most important habitat for European migratory birds. Inviting the visitors to accompany this journey and look at the abundance of Polish avifauna is an opportunity to develop an intriguing, multithreaded story not only about the beauty of Polish nature, but above all about international exchange, mobility, export of ideas and technological thought. Poland will be presented as a strong centre of cooperation, which, through the development of science, offers the world sustainable, environmentally friendly and nature-inspired technologies.
