Wester Balkans Summit in Poznan

Since yesterday, the Western Balkans Summit, along with accompanying events, has been taking place at the MTO Poznań EXPO. During this meeting of the highest-ranking representatives of the Berlin Process partners, leaders will discuss the most important issues for the Western Balkans region.

The event is organized as part of the Polish presidency of the Berlin Process - an initiative that was initiated by Germany and brings together partners from the Western Balkans and individual European Union countries.

The Summit of the Western Balkans in Poznań includes: the Think Tank Forum (July 3), the Civil Society Forum (July 4), the Business Forum (July 4), Ministerial Meetings (July 4) and the Leader Summit (July 5).

The meeting of the foreign ministers of the Berlin Process with the participation of the European Commission and regional organizations is scheduled for 4 July. This is the second meeting of this format during the Polish presidency. At the same time, there are also meetings of ministers of internal affairs and ministers of economies of the Berlin Process partners. The meeting of economy ministers is accompanied by the Business Forum, organized by the Ministry of Enterprise and Technology and the Polish Investment and Trade Agency, which gathers entrepreneurs from the entire region.

On the 5th of July, the meeting of the highest-ranking representatives of the Berlin Process partners will take place. The heads of state will take up talks on the most important issues for the Western Balkans region at the Poznan Congress Center at the MTP Poznań EXPO.
