The Poznań Book Fair 2026 will take place from March 13–15 at MTP Poznań EXPO. For three days, Poznań will become a meeting place for readers, authors, and publishers from across Poland. The organizers announce more than 400 exhibitors, an extensive program of author meetings, and events for both children and adults.

Three days of literary premieres and meetings with authors

The Poznań Book Fair is one of the largest literary events in Poland. Over the course of three days, visitors will be able to explore new releases, book premieres, and bestsellers, as well as meet authors during on-stage events and at publishers’ stands.

Among the announced guests of this year’s edition are Sławek Gortych, author of the Karkonosze crime series; Szczepan Twardoch, known for novels exploring history and identity; and Maciej Siembieda, winner of the 2024 Book of the Year award in the historical novel category for Kairos.

Eliza Kącka, winner of the 2025 Nike Literary Award, will also come to Poznań to meet with readers.

Over 400 exhibitors from across Poland

The organizers expect more than 400 exhibitors, including the largest Polish publishing houses. Among those presenting their stands will be Wydawnictwo Poznańskie, Muza, Czarne, Rebis, W.A.B., and NieZwykłe, as well as hundreds of smaller publishing houses and independent publishers.

The fair is not only an opportunity to purchase books, but also to engage in direct conversations with publishers and authors and to discover less obvious titles that often do not reach mass distribution.

Program for children and families

The Poznań Book Fair 2026 will also offer a program dedicated to families with children. A key part of the event will be a separate family pavilion, featuring activities designed for young readers.

The pavilion will include, among others, a Family Reading Zone, created in cooperation with Dr. Małgorzata Swędrowska, author of the concept of experiential reading, as well as a children’s theater and literary workshops. This space combines literature with movement, emotions, and shared engagement with texts.
