CAVALIADA Sopot 2024

Sopot - well-known for years on the world equestrian, mainly for the 5* CSIO show held here in the summer, will host a prestigious indoor event for the third time.

Stage III of CAVALIADA Tour 2023/24 will be held in the ERGO ARENA located on the border of two cities - Sopot and Gdańsk. State-of-the-art infrastructure will allow a spacious arena (70 x 35 m) for riders and horses, and before the classes, participants will be able to have use of two warm-up arenas (40 x 20 and 30 x 20) for better comfort.

What's on the international competition program?

The sport program of the international showjumping competition is focused on 15 classes at different levels, from 110 to 145 cm. The prize pool is will reach EUR 93,000. In the CSI2*, the riders will compete in the Big Tour, firstly in Thursday's Speed Masters 140 cm competition (EUR 8,000 prize pool) and later in two ranking classes with greater cash bonuses. Both Friday's 145 cm class and Sunday's Grand Prix (145 cm) will reach a prize pool of EUR 28,200 each and will count towards the FEI and CAVALIADA Tour rankings.

The Medium Tour, also part of the CSI2*, consists of two qualifying competitions at the height of 130 and 135 cm and a final 140 cm class with a jump-off, where the prize pool will reach EUR 6,000. For those who do not wish to ride the final, there will be a Last Chance class (135 cm). The special competitions of the 23/24 season are the Speed & Music (130 cm, EUR 6,000 prize pool) held on Friday and the Six Bars (EUR 6,000 prize pool) scheduled for Saturday evening.

The CAVALIADA Open Tour (CSI Amateur) features as many as 6 classes, with two separate Rounds. The Silver category at the height of 110/110/115, and the Gold at 120/120/125 cm. This season's competitions count towards a Tour, the winners of which will be determined at the end of February during the CAVALIADA finals in Krakow, which will culminate in a prestigious prizegiving ceremony.
