How can Poland’s automotive sector remain competitive in the era of decarbonization? Will infrastructure keep pace with technology? And how can the workforce prepare for a transformation that’s already underway? These were the key questions raised today in Poznań during the opening of the MOVE – International Mobility Congress 2025, a major forum dedicated to the future of e-mobility and zero-emission transport.

Representatives of government, the automotive industry, the energy sector, and logistics took the stage to discuss how to shape the future of mobility in Poland and across Europe.

At the heart of the discussions were industrial transformation, charging infrastructure development, and maintaining jobs amid the green revolution. Experts emphasized that successful decarbonization of transport requires close cooperation between business, local governments, and the state.

Key topics included:

  • the future of Europe’s automotive sector,

  • the pace of fleet and public transport electrification,

  • decarbonization of heavy transport,

  • Poland’s battery market in 2030 and raw material recycling,

  • education and workforce preparation for the industry.

The topics we discuss here are always aligned with the real challenges facing the industry – a sector that plays a crucial role in the Polish market and economy - emphasized Filip Bittner, Vice President of Grupa MTP.

Four stages, dozens of speakers, and one shared goal – to develop strategies that will help Poland maintain its position as a European leader in transport and automotive production.
