It Will Be a Year Full of Impressive Events

A strong exhibition position of Grupa MTP and support for the economy
For many years, MTP Poznań EXPO has been a meeting place for the most important export-oriented industries in Poland. In 2026, events such as MEBLE POLSKA, BUDMA, ITM Industry Europe and DREMA will be held here - events that build the global recognition of Polish industry. Thanks to the Hosted Buyers programme, professionals and business partners from all over the world come to Poznań, making MTP Poznań EXPO a real platform for international business relations.
Today, Grupa MTP accounts for 51% of the exhibition market in Poland, and its broad and diversified portfolio - including, among others, entertainment, industry, construction and services - makes the company resilient to crises and economic fluctuations.

Events for the general public: passion, emotions and trends
Among B2C events, a key role is played by those that attract record-breaking audiences. The Poznań Book Fair attracts more than 70,000 readers. Poznań Game Arena, in turn, is the largest games and multimedia entertainment event in this part of Europe, which throughout its history has gathered a community of more than 600,000 fans.
The automotive future and history meet at Poznań Motor Show and Retro Motor Show, while Rybomania and LOOK & BeautyVision show how effectively business, education and passion can be combined to create events that can be considered icons of their industries.
“We look at the competition not only in Poland but also abroad. Each of our events undergoes thorough verification - we analyse which concepts are more popular, which less so, and what new ideas are emerging on the market. Competition is an impulse for development; it inspires us to be even more creative, to raise the quality of the events we organise, and to look for new, attractive solutions for visitors and exhibitors,” emphasises Filip Bittner, Vice President of the Management Board of Grupa MTP.

World-class sport
Grupa MTP remains one of the largest partners and co-organisers of sporting events in Poland. In 2026, the following events will return to Poznań: the 18th PKO Poznań Half Marathon, the 24th Lotto Poznań Marathon, Wings for Life World Run and Ironman. A new addition will be HYROX - a rapidly developing discipline combining functional training with running.
For another consecutive year, MTP Poznań EXPO will also host the Perlage CAVALIADA Tour, the largest equestrian event in this part of Europe, attracting the best riders from Poland and Europe, as well as large audiences of fans. The Perlage CAVALIADA Tour is a unique space where sport meets tradition, and passion for horses blends with a sporting discipline engaging people of all ages.

Culture, concerts and festivals
In 2026, more than 50 concerts are planned at MTP Poznań EXPO, taking place in Sala Ziemi and the exhibition pavilions. Artists performing on stage will include Kortez, Kayah, Varius Manx, Kwiat Jabłoni, Artur Rojek, Edyta Bartosiewicz and Mała Armia Janosika. Comedy and cabaret events, such as Polska Noc Kabaretowa and performances by Kabaret Neo-Nówka, will also be featured.
Among festivals, Pyrkon - the largest fantasy festival in Poland - continues to dominate, and Grupa MTP will once again support the finale of the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity (WOŚP).
Congresses and conferences of global importance
Grupa MTP is also an important operator of business, technological and scientific events. The largest of these remains IMPACT’26, which gathers around 8,000 participants from all over the world. In 2026, MTP Poznań EXPO will also host, among others, the International Congress of the Polish Cardiac Society, EFFoST - a prestigious conference of the European Federation of Food Science and Technology and IN.SE.CON, dedicated to cybersecurity and breakthrough technologies. Other noteworthy events include the MOVE Congress, Greenpact - European ESG Summit, and local government events under the LocalTrends brand.
At the same time, Grupa MTP will begin intensive preparations for the International Astronautical Congress IAC 2027, which will return to Poland after more than 60 years, becoming a major promotional opportunity for the country. Thousands of experts, scientists, business leaders and representatives of all space agencies will come to Poznań, with the opportunity to learn about Poland’s achievements in space technologies, scientific research and innovation.

MTP Poznań EXPO as a strong driver of Poznań’s development
Events organised by Grupa MTP have a measurable impact on the local economy. Financial data show record hotel occupancy during major events and congresses, and a report prepared by Mastercard on Pyrkon confirms an almost 23% increase in spending by participants at local businesses. The largest increase was recorded in the immediate vicinity of MTP Poznań EXPO, but participants’ spending also had an impact on the entire urban economic ecosystem.
Data from the Poznań Local Tourism Organisation also demonstrate the impact of MTP Poznań EXPO on higher revenues in the hotel sector and the development of the local economy. For example, the one-day revenue of Poznań hotels during IMPACT CEE in 2025 amounted to EUR 802,291 - almost 3.5 times higher than the annual daily average. At the top of the ranking for the highest business-standard hotel room rates (three stars and above), alongside IMPACT (EUR 198.63) and Pyrkon (EUR 168.04), are also business events organised by Grupa MTP, such as ITM Industry Europe, BUDMA, MEBLE POLSKA and DREMA.
For example, hotel room occupancy during this year’s MEBLE POLSKA event reached a record 99.1%, meaning that almost all available accommodation in Poznań hotels was fully booked during the event. A similar situation occurred during POLAGRA.
