Poznań CityLab at Smart City Expo in Barcelona
Smart City Expo World Congress, the world’s largest event dedicated to smart cities, brought together representatives of local governments, public institutions, and businesses from around the globe. Among them was the delegation from Poznań CityLab, the city’s innovation lab, of which the Grupa MTP is a member.
During the congress, Poznań showcased its experience in implementing urban innovations and fostering cooperation between the public sector, civil society, and business. Representatives of Poznań CityLab took part in the panel “Democratic Innovation in European Cities,” where they presented ongoing projects developed in Poznań. A key part of the visit also included exchanges with other cities and participation in numerous industry meetings.
Poznań CityLab is a one-of-a-kind initiative in Poland, created to design and test innovative urban solutions. Its work focuses on supporting sustainable development, improving residents’ quality of life, and engaging citizens in decision-making processes.
The operator of Poznań CityLab is the In_Spire Foundation, which implements projects in education, innovation, and social responsibility.
