Poznań CityLab Welcomes New Partners and an International Ambassador
The fourth meeting of Poznań CityLab Partners and Ambassadors is now behind us. Poznań CityLab is the city’s innovation laboratory operated by the In_Spire Foundation. New partners have joined the initiative, including the Metropolia Poznań Association. The meeting also marked an important step toward international development, as Joe Appleton of Bizztech was appointed the international ambassador of Poznań CityLab.

The meeting took place on December 4 at Collegium Da Vinci in Poznań. It provided an opportunity to present new development directions and to summarize the activities carried out in 2024. One of the key highlights of the agenda was a lecture by Professor Witold Orłowski, who spoke about the challenges facing local governments and the role of local businesses in the context of global change.
A particularly important moment was the signing of a letter of intent with the Metropolia Poznań Association. The document was signed on behalf of the organization by Director Anna Aleksandrzak. The cooperation will focus on joint initiatives supporting the development of the city and the region.

Poznań CityLab is also strengthening its international presence. Joe Appleton, a Bizztech expert active in Europe and Asia, will support the global development of PCL projects and represent the initiative beyond Poland’s borders.
CityLab is a space for meetings, testing, and implementation—a collaborative platform where the public sector, academia, and business work together to create innovative urban solutions. From the very beginning, the MTP Poznań EXPO Group and the In_Spire Foundation have been actively co-creating this process.
