Together, We Made a Difference! Over 200 Volunteers Transformed the Children’s Home in Winiary
The third edition of the “Wspólnie POZmieniajmy” (“Let’s Change Things Together”) campaign is behind us – an initiative that brought together 18 companies from across Poznań, including the Grupa MTP team. The result? A brand-new garden, refreshed interiors, and an outpouring of positive energy that will last for a long time.
On Thursday, September 18, nearly 200 volunteers worked side by side at the Care and Educational Center on Piątkowska Street. Tree and shrub planting, the creation of a rose path, a new outdoor relaxation zone, bike repairs, workshops for girls, and freshly renovated rooms – these were just some of the many tasks completed in a single day.
The goal was clear: to improve the living conditions of 16 girls and 15 senior residents of the Center. And it was achieved – thanks to the commitment of local companies, the support of the City of Poznań, and the coordination of Centrum PISOP and Fundacja NIWA.
In previous years, volunteers transformed the spaces of Community Center No. 2 and the Care and Treatment Facility on Mogileńska Street. This year it was Winiary’s turn – and once again, something lasting has been created for the everyday benefit of the Center’s residents.
