The launch of Progetto Fuoco on the Polish market means the implementation of a proven format in a high-potential market characterized by a strong presence of buyers and importers. This decision has solid industrial justification: Poland is among the leading producers of wood pellets in Europe and has significant forest resources – forests cover more than 30% of the country’s territory.

The agreement was signed by Federico Bricolo, President of Veronafiere, and Filip Bittner, Vice President of the Management Board of Grupa MTP. Hanna Lisiecka, Director of the STONE and Windoor-Tech trade fairs, was also present in Verona.

– Progetto Fuoco is the most important event for the entire wood biomass sector – emphasized Federico Bricolo, President of Veronafiere. – Since 1999, across fifteen editions, the event has built a brand recognized by companies and professionals from around the world. Forty-two percent of exhibitors participating in the Verona fair come from abroad and represent 38 countries. One in four visitors is an international guest. Progetto Fuoco Poznań will be based on these foundations and aims to transfer a proven, high-potential format, established in the European environment, to Poland. This step is consistent with our industrial vision – to expand internationally in a thoughtful way, selecting strategic markets and building strong partnerships with leading organizers such as MTP – said Federico Bricolo, President of Veronafiere.

Progetto Fuoco Poznań will be held every two years, alternating – in odd-numbered years – with the edition in Verona. The second edition has already been scheduled for 2029.
