Free Health Screenings, Mobile Mammography, and Psychological Support

Free preventive healthcare is one of the pillars of the event. The Wielkopolska Chamber of Physicians, together with the Poznań Specialist Medical Services Center, offers basic health screenings and specialist consultations, including appointments with a cardiologist and orthopedic specialist, subject to availability.

A mobile hearing screening unit and mammography bus will also be on-site, making it possible to undergo tests that are often difficult to fit into a busy everyday schedule. Psychological support will also be available. Visitors can speak with a specialist about everyday challenges, including issues that may not always be easy to discuss with loved ones.

Movement for Everyone and a Zone for Passion Projects

The activity program has been designed so that everyone can find something suited to their abilities. The Active Movement Zone features Senior Trainer sessions organized by the Eugeniusz Piasecki Foundation for the Academy of Physical Education, as well as yoga, dance workshops, and exercises focused on strengthening the spine and pelvic floor muscles.

The Workshop Zone offers an opportunity to develop existing interests and try something new, from handicrafts to sessions focused on empathy and building relationships.

A Lawyer on Wills and Everyday Uses of Artificial Intelligence

The Lecture Zone addresses topics that are relevant to everyday life. Attorney Joanna Jędrzejak explains the complexities of inheritance law in her presentation, “Who Will Inherit Your Assets? Find Out Before You Write Your Will.”

The program also includes discussions about buying and selling a home when physical abilities are declining, using artificial intelligence in everyday life, dementia and other common health conditions, as well as emotions, relationships, and empathy.

Main Stage: Hula Dancing, Ukulele, and Two Headline Acts

The Main Stage is where most of the action takes place. Performances include choirs, the NANI KE OLA group with a hula dance presentation, the Senioruki group performing on ukulele, and Raj Seniora. The audience can also join a group dance routine set to italo disco.

The stage will also host the finale of the Senior 60+ Composers and Songwriters Festival for the Silver Pegasus Laurel in Poznań.

Each day concludes with a concert by one of this year’s two headline acts. On Friday, October 9, Ritmo Italiano, featuring Benedyk & Nowak, will perform sunny Italian evergreen hits. On Saturday, October 10, the stage will be taken over by Żuki, a band that has been performing the biggest rock hits of the 1960s and 1970s for more than four decades, including songs by The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, Free, and Krzysztof Klenczon.

Exhibitors, Author Meet-and-Greets, and a Police Information Booth

A major part of VIVA Seniorzy! is the extensive exhibition area. Companies and organizations will showcase products and services designed to meet the needs of seniors, from established solutions to new offerings. Visitors can not only explore the range of products and services but also speak directly with exhibitors, ask questions, and test selected products.

There is also something for lovers of good literature. A publishing house specializing in books for women will bring not only novels but also their authors, giving visitors the opportunity to meet them, talk with them, and get their books signed.

The police will also be present at the event with their own information booth, helping promote the safety of participants.
