International Federation for Equestrian Sports approved the proposals of CSI3* competitions in Warsaw. The prize pool exceeds PLN 520,00 PLN, and the programme is interesting enough to guarantee a lot of sport emotions to fans. Three competitions will be classified in the world ranking and Grand Prix gained a new, higher ranking.

The sport competition will be subordinated to contests in the finals of the Central European World Cup League and the Cavaliada Tour final. The World Cup comprises all competitions of the Big Round. In accordance with the rules, the rivalry shall start on Thursday with the speed contest, to be followed by 150 cm competition with a game on Friday and Grand Prix (155 cm) on Sunday, after a one-day rest. After this competition, the best three competitors of our region will be selected, who will participate in the World Cup Final to be held in Paris in April. Let’s remind that among Poles, Michał Kaźmierczak, the Polish competitor, has the greatest chances for the final success.

The Friday and Sunday World Cup competitions will also determine the final results of Cavaliada Tour. This includes the last fifth round of qualifiers on Friday (three best results of five competitions will qualify) and the final on Sunday, where points are multiplied by two.

Moreover, those two cup competitions and the Saturday medium round final will be classified to the world ranking. What is the novelty for Cavaliada (not only in Warsaw) is the prize pool in Grand Prix. It amounts to almost 200 thousand (precisely, PLN 192,800) which means that for the first time in Cavaliada’s history, a competitor will receive 80 points for victory (instead of former 50) to contribute to the world ranking (C LR Group).

“It is very important not only for upgrading the event but also for the sport level of jumping in Poland. Our competitors have been recently strongly promoted in the world ranking (Jarosław Skrzyczyński is classified in Top 100) and they have to run in higher ranking competitions in order to make further progress and, consequently, to obtain invitations to top competitions.” – says Tomasz Kobierski, Chairman of the CAVALIADA Tour Organising Committee.

Such events as the power of jump, Venus vs Mars and Speed&Music will not be missing in the programme. In all those competitions, prize pools are very attractive, which will certainly additionally motivate competitors to fight in front of the Warsaw audience. Less experienced horses will have the opportunity to run in the small round (130 cm).
