The 2025/2026 CAVALIADA Tour will bring a major change. For the first time in the history of the series, one of the host cities is being replaced. Farewell to Sopot, and welcome to Łódź – that’s the big news ahead of next season. Following the traditional opening in Warsaw and the festive stop in Poznań, the third stop on the CAVALIADA Tour will be Łódź. The competition will take place January 29 – February 1, 2026.

Thanks to the efforts of the City of Łódź and the Łódź Voivodeship, CAVALIADA is coming to the heart of Poland!

“I am delighted that the Łódź Voivodeship and the city’s Atlas Arena will host the next CAVALIADA. It’s a demanding and prestigious sport, best experienced live to truly feel the emotions of both horse and rider,” said Joanna Skrzydlewska, Marshal of the Łódź Voivodeship.
“This event proves that Łódź is expanding its potential as both an event and tourism destination. Last year, 4.7 million visitors came to our city for great events, and next year – also thanks to CAVALIADA – that number will grow to 6 million,” added Hanna Zdanowska, Mayor of Łódź.

The host venue will be the Atlas Arena, with a capacity of over 10,000 spectators. Organizers are confident it will be filled to the brim from the very first edition. Why the change?

“For years, we have built a tight-knit community that has signaled the need for calendar updates. We were looking for a location with top connectivity to meet the needs of fans, riders, and partners alike. Łódź, with its central location and excellent transportation links, fits the bill perfectly,” explained Jakub Patelka, Director of the CAVALIADA Tour.

The Łódź region has a strong equestrian tradition. It is home to the Bogusławice Stallion Stud, a talent hub from the 1970s and 1980s that produced, among others, Grzegorz Kubiak – multiple Polish champion and Athens Olympian.

“Many outstanding riders have come from local clubs such as Gabon Walewice, Jantar Stryków, or Łódzki Klub Jeździecki. Two representatives of the region – Aleksandra Szulc and Michał Tyszko – were recently called up for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games,” emphasized Szymon Tarant, CAVALIADA’s Sports Director.

The Łódź edition will feature CSI 3 show jumping*, including three competitions counting toward the FEI world ranking – guaranteeing participation from top international riders. The program will also include fan favorites such as Driving Tour, Apart Dressage Tour, Eventing Tour, and the amateur Respect Energy Open Tour. Popular special competitions, including the Relay Race and Speed & Music, will return. Organizers also promise a brand-new show format, with details to be revealed in the coming weeks.

Alongside the competitions, the second-largest Expo Zone in the event’s history will be created at Atlas Arena, offering space for 100 equestrian companies. In addition, a special educational program will allow schools and kindergartens in Łódź to visit the event free of charge.
