The meeting featured high-profile attendees, including Michał Jaros, Secretary of State at the Ministry of Development and Technology; Jacek Jaśkowiak, President of the City of Poznań; Christian Feichtinger, Executive Director of the International Astronautical Federation (IAF); and Polish astronaut Sławosz Uznański-Wiśniewski.

The IAC is the world’s premier space sector event, held annually since 1950. Over five intensive days, Poznań will host more than 10,000 participants from over 120 countries, providing a unique platform for international networking and collaboration.

The congress’s scientific significance is underscored by an expected 7,000 abstract submissions, which will be presented across numerous technical sessions. The exhibition floor is set to feature over 500 exhibitors, ranging from global industry giants to innovative startups. A major highlight of the program will be the opportunity to meet with international astronauts.

Hosting the International Astronautical Congress is a key pillar of the development strategies for both the City of Poznań and the MTP Group. The event reinforces their position as professional hosts of major global gatherings and active organizers of meetings dedicated to the innovative "industries of the future."
