Safety standards applicable

Grupa MTP pays special attention to the global coronavirus outbreak. Therefore, Grupa MTP is in constant contact with the national sanitary and medical services, strictly following their recommendations. With the utmost care we keep track of the messages published by the Chief Sanitary Inspectorate (GIS) and we operate in accordance with the provided procedures.

The safety of exhibitors and trade fair visitors is the top priority of Grupa MTP. High sanitary standards aim to mitigate as much as possible the potential for Covid-19 transmission during events held on the grounds of MTP Poznań Expo.

Grupa MTP is introducing new rules related to the organisation of business and international trade fairs, such as BUDMA or Furniture Poland. They involve the necessity to present the COVID passport, a negative test result for SARS-CoV-2 performed not later than 48 hours before the event or to perform a paid antigen test on the premises of MTP Poznań Expo grounds prior to entering the event. Such solutions have proved successful in other European countries, including Germany, Italy and France.

In the case of events addressed to the general public - including concerts, theatre performances, sports events, events or conferences - the existing admission rules will  remain unchanged. Their participants take part in these events on the basis of the rules determined by the organiser of a particular event. Further potential changes to the applicable regulations will depend on COVID pandemic developments. All tickets for events organised by Grupa MTP purchased so far will remain valid.

Grupa MTP strictly observes the governmental guidelines concerning the organisation of trade fairs, according to which a space of 10 square metres per person must be provided. Vaccinated persons are not included in this limit. Individuals under the age of 12 can take part in events without showing the COVID passport.

During business events organised by Grupa MTP, all COVID vaccines approved in the European Union are accepted, i.e. Pfizer, Moderna, AstraZeneca and Johnson&Johnson. A vaccination is considered to be valid when it is complete (i.e. 2 doses for Pfizer, Moderna and AstraZeneca and 1 dose for Johnson&Johnson) and when at least 14 days have elapsed since the last dose.

At the same time, Grupa MTP guarantees that high standards will be maintained in areas related to medical care, fire protection or personal safety. Sanitary rules regarding keeping a distance, covering the mouth and nose or disinfecting hands while entering and leaving the event are strictly observed during the events organised.

High safety standards in every area, including medical care, fire protection and personal safety, have always been our priorities. However, considering the current situation, we have taken extraordinary precautions for the upcoming edition of the trade fair.

Grupa MTP has intensified efforts to maintain cleanliness within the fairgrounds. According to the recommendations of sanitary authorities, all toilets, handrails and door handles will be disinfected several times per day by the cleaning services. Moreover, the toilets at the fairgrounds are provided with disinfectant dispensers and the instructions for proper hand washing. The official announcement the Chief Sanitary Inspector is also displayed in the exhibition halls.

We care about our common safety
