TAROPAK and POLAGRA at MTP Poznań EXPO: One Ticket, Two Events
On September 23–25, 2026, MTP Poznań EXPO will host TAROPAK and POLAGRA side by side Poland's two largest events for the packaging and food industries. The organizers have prepared a joint ticket that grants entry to both events.
In Poland, as much as 70 percent of packaging production goes directly to the food industry, so bringing packaging-machine manufacturers and food processors together in one place gives attendees a complete picture of the market. You can trace the entire value chain: from raw materials and processing technologies, through packaging machines and automated labeling, all the way to the finished product on the store shelf.

Machines in Motion and International Networking
The TAROPAK 2026 exhibition covers the full spectrum of the industry: from modern polymers, cardboard, and flexible films, through packaging designed for e-commerce and specialized containers for the medical field, to biodegradable protective materials. A separate part of the exhibition is dedicated to machines in motion—live, operating production lines, filling machines, wrapping machines, industrial robots, and labeling machines. The fairgrounds will also feature warehouse-management technologies, including internal transport equipment and software for managing logistics information.
Lidl, Żabka, PHU BEST, Filmat, InfoGraf, Coffee Service, Schur, ORWAK, Sigma, MHLift, BOO, EcoSave Group, and SEFKO have already confirmed their attendance. The previous edition drew more than 9,000 professional visitors, and through the Hosted Buyers program, buyers and managers from 41 countries will travel to Poznań.

The Deposit Return Scheme and Exports to Africa: Key Program Topics
The centerpiece of the substantive program will be a debate devoted to the first year of Poland's deposit return scheme. Market leaders, manufacturers, and retailers will analyze operating costs, the logistical challenges facing small and large stores, and the actual level of consumer engagement. The second key panel addresses the implementation of climate targets across the entire supply chain and practical ways to reduce carbon footprints and eliminate plastic without sacrificing business profitability.

A new feature of this year's edition is the Africa Food & Trade Forum. The initiative brings together importers, government representatives, and business partners from African countries, with the goal of opening the door for Polish food producers to markets that are currently undergoing one of the fastest economic transformations in the world. A growing middle class, urbanization, and investment in trade are making Africa a genuine export destination for food producers worldwide, and combining this with TAROPAK's offerings means that in one place you can source both packaging lines and packaging materials suited to the requirements of international transport.
Detailed information about the program and registration is available at TAROPAK and POLAGRA.
